Bequests

Bequests are a simple yet very effective way to support the causes that matter most to you, and it has no impact on your life as it is today. Every bequest, no matter how large or small, is very significant as it allows us to plan ahead and support people affected by stroke for the long term.

Stroke Central New Zealand Inc. is self managed and self funded. More than ever in today’s uncertain economic climate, we have become increasingly dependent upon the generosity of individuals to ensure our our ongoing financial viability. We are the only provider of Field Officer support services to Stroke survivors and their families in the Central Region.

Whilst we do receive support from Government sources, we are heavily reliant on generosity of our members, the proceeds of Fundraising Events, Charitable Trusts and Service Organisations for our outgoing funding needs. All funds raised in the Central Region are used to support the local Field Officer Service ensuring that this essential local community service is available when it is needed.

Funding from our members can originate from:

  • Annual Subscriptions and donations during the member’s lifetime.
  • Bequests to Stroke Central Region Inc. in terms of the Member’s will.
