World Stroke Day is coming up on Friday 29th October and we are asking you to help us raise awareness for stroke as well as raise some much-needed funds for our ongoing free support services to our stroke community.

  • Every year 10,000 people experience a stroke.

  • Every hour, someone has a stroke.

  • Every 5 hours, someone dies from stroke.

  • There are over 50,000 people living with stroke aftermath, and about one third of them require assistance in everyday living.

You can help by hosting a Big Blue Brunch for your friends, colleagues, or family this World Stroke Day. If you register your Big Blue Brunch with us in advance and tell us how many people you expect to host, then we will send you some pens to hand out to everyone attending.

We hope you will support us this World Stroke Day. And don’t forget to wear blue!
